Falkirk Football Club is delighted to announce the launch of our 150th anniversary celebrations, which will run from May 2026 until December 2027.
As one of the oldest football clubs in Scotland, Falkirk Football Club has stood the test of time. Our history is rich with stories, big personalities, setbacks and triumphs. From the formation of the club, to Brockville Park, to Scottish Cup triumphs, to the The Falkirk Stadium move, to the Invincibles and Back to Back Champions, our history is something which Falkirk supporters should celebrate with pride.
Our 150 years celebrations offer an opportunity to reflect on this rich heritage, which makes the club and our fan base what we are today. Celebrations will run throughout the remainder of 2026 and the entirety of 2027 in order to cover the early stages of the club’s formation right through to the modern day.
We have been working closely with The Falkirk Football Heritage Trust and will be publishing a range of video content series across the duration of our celebrations which tell the story of the club, as well as speaking with some of the most significant figures from our history.
Our 2026/27 kit launches will feature a strong reference to our 150th anniversary, and we will also be releasing a special edition 150th anniversary kit in the autumn of 2026.
We are also delighted to announce a series of 150th anniversary events, which will kick off with a Hall of Fame Dinner this summer, followed by memorabilia events and exhibitions. We also hope to hold a Heritage fixture between a Falkirk XI and a Bonnybridge Grasshoppers XI in tribute to our first ever fixture. Our 150th anniversary events calendar will then conclude with a Heritage Dinner in the winter of 2027, bringing our period of celebration to a close.
Special retail offerings are also in production, including a collectors spirits range and a brand-new Falkirk FC 150th anniversary tartan.
As we progress through our celebrations, we will keep supporters up to date with every development. In the short term, please keep an eye out on our official channels for the launch of our 150 years crest and associated imagery.
There are also opportunities for businesses to get involved with our celebrations through a range of different commercial opportunities. Please contact commercial@falkirkfc.co.uk to learn more.
We look forward to engaging with all Falkirk supporters over the coming 20 months as we celebrate the club that means so much to us.
150 years – Always Falkirk
