The Bairns Business Club (BBC) has once again invested into Falkirk Football Club for the season ahead.
Every year a group of local businesses raise money through the BBC, to support the on-going development and progression of the club. All proceeds from the BBC’s events and membership fees are donated, enabling the club to make purchases and enhancements to its operations.So far this season, the BBC contributions have been used to purchase a game ready machine. The system itself is a compression unit that simultaneously pumps ice cold water into a padded bag that can mask any joint in the body.
It aids with rehab from injury and general recovery after matches/training and is used every day. It is essential in the first 24-48hrs post-injury to aid with swelling and pain management. The equipment is best in class for recovery systems and will ensure the player has the best chance to return from injury as quickly as possible. Monies were also used to upgrade on other existing physiotherapy equipment as well as the purchase of some small items of sports science related equipment.
In addition to the investment into the football department, donations have been used to further enhance the Falkirk TV service through the purchase of some additional equipment. This investment includes the purchase hardware to allow for an improvement in crowd noise, additional camera angles for home games through go pro’s and a fixed camera and a streamdeck to improve the quality of the streaming service. This additional investment into Falkirk TV will improve the overall quality of the streaming service and highlights package.

‘As we enter the 10th season since the Bairns Business Club was founded in 2015, we are delighted to continue to assist the club with projects or expenditure not typically included in their budgets, and we have donated over £20,000 of funding in the last year. The business club was set up to boost business networking in the Falkirk area while having a common goal of helping the football club. All are welcome, and you don’t have to be a Falkirk fan, or even a football fan. We’re proud to have raised over £200,000 for the Bairns since our inception and we look forward to many more years of doing so.’
