Falkirk FC and the Falkirk Supporters Society (FSS) are proud to share the results of this year’s Bairns Survey.
A huge thanks to the 1,052 supporters who took part. Fans who filled it in came from all kinds of backgrounds – from regulars at every match to those who attend a few games – and there was a 50/50 split between FSS members and non-members. As a fan-owned club, it’s vital we hear directly from you so we can keep improving.
The survey gave us a better picture of our fanbase, including female fans, ethnic minority supporters and the LGBTQI community. This will help shape how we make sure everyone feels welcome at the Falkirk Stadium.

Hearing from non-members was also important. Of those not in FSS, 45% said cost was the main reason, while 16% said they plan to join. That gives FSS clear direction for building membership.
On matchdays, the response was brilliant: 93% said they enjoy the overall experience, up again from last year. Fans highlighted ticketing, safety, hospitality, family-friendly atmosphere and the matchday programme as big positives. Work is already being done on accessible seating, disabled shelters and safety barriers, and toilet facilities are next on the list.
Elsewhere, 85% praised the club shop, and 93% said they have confidence in the club’s leadership. Communication was also rated highly, with 93% happy with social media, the website and how often the club shares updates. We’re also looking to give more value through Falkirk TV and hope fans have already seen some improvements this season.
Best of all, 95% of fans are optimistic about the future – a massive jump from 66% in 2022/23. Supporters feel more confident than ever about the club’s goals and positive direction.
These results will guide both the club and FSS as we keep improving together – always with the fans at the heart of every decision.
