The 2024/25 Bairns Survey once again demonstrated the incredible passion and engagement of our supporters, with 1,050 Falkirk fans sharing their views on all aspects of the club’s performance.
We were delighted to see that overall satisfaction remains exceptionally high, with 94% of supporters feeling the club is supporter-oriented and 93% expressing confidence in club leadership.
The Falkirk Supporters Society brought this invaluable feedback to the club, and we’ve been working hard to address the key areas you’ve identified.
While we’re proud of our strengths – including a 93% matchday experience satisfaction rating and 88% retail quality approval – we’re committed to improving where it matters most to you.
Stadium Access and Parking emerged as the top priority. While much of this is out of our hands given the long-term roadworks adjacent to the stadium, which are the responsibility of Falkirk Council and their contractors, we’ve already enhanced our matchday communication and increased steward presence to assist supporters. This season, we’re working with a new security team focused on creating a more welcoming, efficient operation. We’ve also updated our traffic management plan and continue pressing Falkirk Council for improvements. To ease congestion, we’d like to remind fans of the discounted public bus travel available to season ticket holders. Supporters can find the most up to date information regarding the works around the stadium here.
Falkirk TV subscribers will see significant investment in service quality for home matches. We’ve approved funding for a QTV World feed – the same professional standard used by other Premiership clubs – ensuring superior picture quality and in-game replays. This was evident in the service provided for the game against Kilmarnock on 1 November. We will continue to try our best for overseas subscribers who view our services direct from Falkirk TV, though cannot offer any guarantees to anyone viewing through third party service providers or who use geographical cloaking.
Away matches are more challenging, as we rely on the host club’s facilities and connectivity, which can vary greatly from ground to ground. This is why Falkirk TV’s service is only formally offered for home fixtures. However, our media team and volunteers will always give their all to provide the best possible coverage. Our newly established user panel of overseas subscribers provide real-time feedback, helping us respond quickly to any issues. Any overseas subscribers who would like to join the panel to help us improve the service can contact Andrew.Macleod@falkirkfc.co.uk
Subscribers will also see new regular, direct communications keeping them updated on service quality, content and improvements.
Facility improvements are continuing. Our partnership with BD365 has delivered a new cleaning operation and schedule for toilet facilities, with rigorous inspection protocols between matches. The new safe-standing – part-funded by FSS members’ generosity – is a success and upgraded shelters have improved the experience of our disabled fans. We’re making improvements to the fanzone every week, and that is proving a hit. Meanwhile, we’re working with Pie Sports on structured feedback from FSS members to explore meal deals and menu variety, though pricing remains challenging given rising operational, staffing and product costs.
Progress will be tracked through regular club reports, with headline updates discussed at quarterly meetings between the club and FSS boards. The FSS plans to establish focused supporter groups to gather deeper insights on key areas, including how we maintain our exceptional fan engagement scores and family-friendly atmosphere, matchday experience, and other issues raised in the survey.
The next survey will launch earlier – no later than February 2026 – ensuring we capture your feedback when it’s freshest. This partnership approach, combining club action with FSS-led supporter consultation, ensures your voice drives meaningful change at Falkirk FC.
