Following feedback from supporters, including in The Bairns Survey, regarding our stadium car park on matchdays, all parking will now be allocated to home fans by permit only, with no pay on the day spaces available. Only away coaches and away disabled supporters will be permitted to park at The Falkirk Stadium in order to prioritise home supporters.
Additional permits have been sold directly to supporters on our pre-existing waiting list, which have now sold out. However, more permits may become available in due course as we monitor the situation. We recognise this is an inconvenience to those who have in the past bought day passes, and would like to remind supporters that overflow parking is available at Forth Valley College. Disabled parking at The Falkirk Stadium remains unchanged. Supporters that have disabled access permits will continue to have access to accessible parking areas. Once arriving at The Falkirk Stadium, supporters should display this to the Stewarding team, who will direct them to the correct area. The club will continue to prioritise Blue Badge Holders in line with previous policies.
This new policy, which will be in place from this evening’s fixture against Ayr United, will help the club to ensure quicker entry to the stadium as well as a better control over numbers.
As this evening’s fixture is the first with the new policy in place, a relaxed stewarding approach will be adopted, with those arriving and expecting to pay for parking, permitted to park their car at the stadium.
We would encourage permit holders to arrive at the stadium in plenty of time, given the ongoing roadworks.
There will also be further details released in the next couple of weeks, regarding a new traffic management provider, which will soon be beginning to work on matchdays at The Falkirk Stadium. This additional measure is the result of continued feedback from supporters regarding parking at the stadium
