From time to time The Board is approached by supporters looking to sell or purchase shares in the club. Given at the present time the club itself has no shares available to issue to shareholders, it is willing to trial a forum which would aim to match willing sellers and buyers.
The price at which shares would change hands is a matter for private agreement between parties. The 40p and 50p ordinary shares in issue have identical rights and are of equal value. The club would not offer an opinion as to an appropriate price, but can provide some general guidance by reference to publicly available accounts or recent sales. To make administration manageable, the club would guide a minimum transaction size of 1,000 shares.
