Falkirk Football Club is delighted to announce the signing of Conor McLeod from Wolverhampton Wanderers on a season-long loan, subject to SFA and international clearance.
The Wolves youngster joins with over 60 appearances at youth level in England, and becomes John McGlynn’s 15th summer signing.
The winger comes from the Wolves academy, having joined the English Championship side when he was just six years old. Conor signed his first professional contract in December of 2023, and has made frequent appearances at U18 and U21 level.
In 58 appearances, the 19-year-old has scored 13 goals and assisted four in the U18 Premier League, and also has one cap for England at U16 level.
John McGlynn said:
“Conor is a winger, and he’s one that Allan Fraser watched towards the end of last season and he caught his eye, so we’ve followed him since then.
“He’s been doing really well in pre-season with Wolves. He scored a couple of goals against Burnley, which is great from his point of view.
“He’s a skilful player that will take opposition players on in one vs one situations, and we feel he’s someone who will complement the team.
“He’s coming in to push for starts and to try to make a name for himself, like a lot of the players we’ve brought in in these positions have done.
“He’s one that we’ve been doing a good bit of work on, and I’d like to thank Steve Davis from Wolves for his input in making this deal happen. We’re delighted to get him, we’re looking forward to working with him, and we welcome him to the football club!”
Welcome to Falkirk, Conor!
