Falkirk FC is delighted to announce that the Falkirk Daft podcast has extended their captains sponsorship for the 2024/25 Championship campaign.
Ross Wayne and John McInally, co-hosts of the Falkirk Daft podcast, have been fantastic in terms of their support of the club over the past few seasons through their uptake of matchday sponsorship, as well as their promotion of the club on their platform.
Last season saw Falkirk Daft ramp up their involvement, becoming our Captains Sponsor for the 2023/24 season, which they have now renewed for the 2024/25 campaign. The club captain will continue to wear the Falkirk Daft logo on their armband, and they will also continue to hand the armband to one of our younger supporters at the end of each game.
The Falkirk Daft Podcast is the leading supporters podcast for Falkirk fans, and covers everything FFC related in their weekly episodes, which are available to view or listen to on Youtube, Spotify and all other leading streaming platforms, where they now average 2,500 downloads per week.
Graham Carbis, Falkirk FC, Business Development Manager said: “We are delighted to be continuing our partnership with Falkirk Daft for another season. I have no dounts that their innovative sponsorship from last season helped to strengthen the connection between our fan base and playing squad, and I’m looking forward to developing our partnership as the season progresses.
Ross Wayne, Co-host of Falkirk Daft, said:
“John and I are delighted to sign up for a second season as the captain’s sponsor. We’ve loved seeing the impact of the armband handover and the end of every game and the memories it has helped create for the kids, and big kids, among the Falkirk support.
“We want to thank outgoing captain, Stephen McGinn, for what he did for the club and we look forward to seeing Coll, and Brad when called upon, wearing the captain’s armband every game with our logo on it.
“We are just two regular fans who love talking about our club and we are excited about our third season doing the podcast and welcoming on guest pundits each week, as well as the odd special guest from the world of Falkirk FC.”
