Earlier this week, the club donated £3000 of the money raised from our heritage shirts auction to our Charity Partner, Strathcarron Hospice.First team players, Alfredo Agyeman, Gary Oliver, Dylan Tait and Aidan Nesbitt visited Strathcarron Hospice earlier this week to present staff with a cheque for £3000.
The money donated was a percentage of the profits from heritage shirt sales, sponsorship and the recent auction of the players’ match worn heritage jerseys, which were auctioned on Match Worn Shirt.
Falkirk FC CEO, Jamie Swinney, said:
“The response from our supporters and community towards last season’s heritage kit was nothing short of incredible. As a result, we are delighted to be able to donate £3000 of the profits from the shirt to our charity partners, Strathcarron Hospice.
“The shirt celebrated some of our town’s rich history and is regarded by many as one of their favourite Falkirk strips. It will also now be remembered fondly as one of our Invincible tops. Thank you to everyone who purchased one for your support of the club and a very worthy charity.”
