Fatra’s Regional Sales Manager, Gordon Hastings, spoke of his personal connection to the club and what the partnership means to him:
“I grew up going to watch Falkirk F.C. with my grandad. Standing in the terraces together week after week supporting the club we loved. Those are memories I’ll carry with me forever. My grandad sadly isn’t here anymore, but he’s the reason I fell in love with the club in the first place, so to now be partnering with Falkirk FC and seeing the company banner pitch-side at the stadium, and being able to give something back, means a lot.
“When the disabled bays at the stadium needed renovated, Fatra UK were proud to donate the roofing materials to help make it happen. Now I have my own son, Myles, I can’t wait to take him to his first Falkirk game and start making the same memories with him. From the terraces with my grandad, to the next generation!”
In a fitting reflection of that generational support, Gordon’s son, Myles Duncan Hastings, became the youngest-ever Junior Bairn, enrolled just 16 minutes after his birth on 22 September 2025.
Speaking on the new partnership, Falkirk FC Commercial Business Development Manager Lewis Dickson said:
“I want to thank Gordon and all of the team at Fatra for their support to the club this season. Helping us to upgrade the accessible shelters was a very important project and Fatra made it a really easy process. Gordon is a huge fan of the club, and it was great to hear of Myles becoming the youngest Junior Bairn in September, letting us know just 18 minutes after his birth. That is commitment!”
