Supporting Two Incredible Causes
The Evo Foundation:
The Evo Foundation is dedicated to transforming lives by preventing poverty and advancing education across the UK.
Their work focuses on supporting vulnerable individuals and strengthening local communities through:
Poverty prevention initiatives, providing essential resources to families in need
Educational programmes and opportunities for children and young people
Grassroots community funding for projects improving wellbeing and reducing inequality
Long-term support aimed at breaking cycles of hardship
From youth development and school initiatives to mental health and community wellbeing programmes, the Evo Foundation plays an essential role in building stronger, fairer and more hopeful communities nationwide.
B Heard:
B Heard was founded by Bairns player Leon McCann and his partner Morgan after discovering that their first baby, Brooks, was profoundly bilaterally deaf at just three weeks old.
Around six months on, Morgan and Leon have educated themselves and begun a journey to discover how to give Brooks the best possible quality of life without his hearing. Along the way, they’ve uncovered a lack of deaf awareness and limited funding for families. There is currently no structured funding to access life-changing interventions, leaving parents to search, fight, and fund it themselves.
Their journey revealed a severe lack of deaf awareness and no structured funding for families to access vital interventions. Parents are left to navigate overwhelming decisions, challenges and costs alone.
B Heard’s mission is simple but powerful, to give children with hearing loss a louder voice, a brighter future and an equal quality of life.
Gordon and Mark said:
“Football connects people. This challenge is our way of using that connection to support two charities making a real difference. Every mile we travel helps change lives.”
