Season Ticket Holders can now opt into the ticket ballot for our away fixture against Heart of Midlothian FC on the 21st of February.
We have also made some changes to how these ballots are conducted, following feedback from fans.
All Season Ticket Holders who are looking to participate in the ballot must opt in to do so. Supporters should receive the link to the ballot by email before 5pm this evening.
Any Season Ticket holder who does not receive this email should first check the spam folder of their email address, and if they still have not received their link email supporterservices@falkirkfc.co.uk.
When opting in, Season Ticket Holders have the option of also opting in a family member or friend, who must also be a Season Ticket Holder, so that if successful both will receive a ticket. Your family member or friend can still opt in for themselves; however an individual can only be successful in the ballot once.
Season Ticket Holders have until 11pm on the 9th of February to opt in, after which the draw will be made, and Season Ticket Holders will be contacted to update them on their application.
Following feedback from our supporters, the club has updated our process for high-demand away ticket allocations to be as fair possible for all travelling Bairns, which will come into play for this fixture.
With several away grounds in The William Hill Premiership providing Falkirk supporters with allocations significantly below demand, we introduced a ballot system to randomly allocate tickets to Season Ticket Holders who opted into the ballot.
We have listened to fan feedback from the four matches where a ballot has been organised and studied the data. Based on these learnings, we have opted to introduce the following changes to our ballot process for the rest of this season:
– Supporters who enter a ballot will be contacted after to inform them of the outcome, regardless of whether their application has been successful.
– Those successful will be deprioritised in the next ballot, so as many supporters as possible can attend balloted fixtures.
– Anyone successful in the ballot who fails to collect and pay for their tickets without contacting the club will be blocked from future ballots until the end of the season.
We hope these changes will improve communication from the club and increase opportunities for more Bairns to attend high demand fixtures.
As a fan-owned club, we are always keen to hear feedback from supporters, and we are committed to continue learning. If you would like to provide your input, please contact supporterservices@falkirkfc.co.uk
