Everyone at Falkirk Football Club would like to congratulate The Junior Bairns, who in partnership with Your Equipment Solutions, have surpassed the 500 member mark!
Now at 508, this is the highest Junior Bairns membership since our move from Brockville over 20 years ago, which is testament to the scale of this achievement.
The Junior Bairns is the official children’s supporters club for Falkirk fans, which provides members with a wide range of benefits, including the opportunity to train with our 1st team squad.
The group has been running since 1993 when Sarah Scott took over from Jim Hendry, the then Commercial Manager. In the years that have followed, thousands of Falkirk fans have passed through the Junior Bairns, each reaping the benefits of unique experience and of being part of a community. There is also no doubt that the Junior Bairns have benefited the club by engaging young people and helping to create lifetime Falkirk supporters.
The club would like to thank Sarah Scott and her team of volunteers for their incredible efforts which have led to this key milestone being reached. They help to make the experience as good as it possibly can be for every young Falkirk fan that is involved.
Your Equipment Solutions, the club’s Official Community Engagement Partner, has been a long-standing partner of The Junior Bairns and have contributed significantly to their success. Despite so much work having already gone into the Junior Bairns this season, the group is only just short of their all-time record membership of 535. The club will continue to work closely with all parties in pursuit of this next target.
Sarah Scott, Junior Bairns said: “It has been a pleasure to encourage kids to join the Junior Bairns, some as young as a few hours old! We have parents who were Junior Bairns back in the day now bringing their kids and even grandkids to the games. My team off the park have been amazing and we thank YES and previous sponsors for supporting the Junior Bairns”. Peter Houston, former Falkirk FC Manager who was involved with the Junior Bairns in the early 90’s also added: It gives me great delight to know that the Falkirk FC Junior Bairns are still going strong in 2026 and that memberships are still climbing. It takes me back to when I first got involved in some coaching sessions, as Falkirk FC community coach, away back in the early 1990s. The idea back in the 1990s was to engage young people to support their local team and let kids grow a connection with Falkirk FC. To be still going strong all these years later is great credit to Sarah Scott and all the volunteers who keep momentum going. Congratulations to everyone involved and keep supporting the Junior Bairns and the team in what has been a great season so far.”
