Falkirk Football Club is proud to announce that Kevin McAllister, the club’s Player of the Millennium and one of its most iconic figures, has been named as a Lifetime Ambassador of Falkirk FC.
The honour will be formally presented ahead of Saturday’s match against St Mirren at The Falkirk Stadium, with fellow Lifetime Ambassador Alex Totten making the presentation on the pitch.Kevin, affectionately known to generations of supporters as “Crunchie,” is one of the most beloved players in the club’s history. Born in Camelon, he began his career at Falkirk in 1983 and went on to make more than 350 appearances across four spells with the Bairns spread between times with Chelsea and Hibernian.
Renowned for his skill, flair, and ability to light up games with moments of magic, he became a firm favourite in the terraces of Brockville as a fellow supporter who lived out the dream of every Falkirk fan.
His legendary contribution was immortalised in 2021 when the South Stand of The Falkirk Stadium was renamed the Kevin McAllister Stand in his honour.
A spokesperson for the Falkirk FC Board said:
“Kevin McAllister embodies everything that is special about Falkirk Football Club. His talent, his commitment, and his enduring bond with the supporters make him a true legend. We are delighted to recognise him as Lifetime Ambassador, a role that reflects not only his contribution on the pitch but also the way he has carried himself off it. Kevin is a big part of the history of Falkirk FC, and this honour is richly deserved.”
