Falkirk Football Club is delighted to announce the signing of defender Luke Graham on a loan deal from Dundee FC until the end of the season. The 20-year-old has come through the academy at Dundee was promoted to the club’s senior squad this summer after a season on loan at Montrose last year where he won the club’s young player of the season. His time at Montrose followed loan spells with Lochee United and Albion Rovers.
Graham made his first team debut for Dundee against Annan in the Premier Sports Cup on 23rd July 2024 and has made four appearances for the Dens Park side this season.
Luke will be available for selection ahead of Sunday’s trip to Celtic Park.
Falkirk Manager John McGlynn commented on signing Luke:
“We’re delighted to have Luke at the club, he’s one who caught our eye playing for Montrose and he’s gained a lot of experience with them, doing very well playing alongside Sean Dillon, who he will have picked up a lot of good habits from.
“Luke has a lot of potential; he is a left sided centre back with good stature. We feel that if we were to pick up another injury in that area we would be really struggling, so he is here to bolster, to compete, and to ultimately play minutes. We never know what’s going to happen down the line so we felt we had to add to the squad, and we are sure Luke will be a really good signing for us.
“I’d like to thank everyone at Dundee Football Club for their assistance in getting this deal done, in particular the Manager Tony Docherty, Billy Kirkwood, Eric Drysdale, and the recruitment department at Dundee FC for their assistance in making this deal happen.”
