The Bairns head to Hampden Park this Saturday for a huge Scottish Gas Scottish Cup Semi-Final against Dunfermline Athletic.
With a place in the final at stake, over 10,400 Falkirk supporters will make the journey to Glasgow to back John McGlynn’s side in what promises to be a special occasion.
A huge thank you to our away day partners Haldane Construction!
Kick-off is at 12:30pm on Saturday 18th March.
TICKETING
Tickets purchased in advance should now have arrived in supporters’ ticketing apps. If you have not yet received yours, please check your junk or spam folders before getting in touch.
Tickets purchased since Tuesday are still being processed and will be delivered to apps by close of play tomorrow. QR codes will become visible closer to kick-off.
A dedicated Ticket Resolution Area for Falkirk supporters will be in place from 11:00am in the north-east corner of the stadium exterior, close to the Falkirk turnstiles. This will be staffed by both Falkirk FC and Scottish FA personnel to assist with any issues.
With over 88% of tickets already downloaded, supporters are strongly encouraged to download theirs in advance to avoid delays at the turnstiles.
Our dedicated singing section will be located in Blocks F1 and F2, covering rows A to Z.
SUPPORTER BEHAVIOUR
Supporters are reminded that pyrotechnics are strictly prohibited for this match. Along with the messaging put out by the club earlier this week, the club has been advised by the Scottish FA that any use of pyrotechnics could have serious consequences should Falkirk reach the final, including a reduction in ticket allocation and restrictions on supporter displays.
A robust search operation will be in place, including the use of pyro detection dogs, with drums and loudhailers also fully subject to search.
Any damage to the stadium will be billed directly to the club. With a quick turnaround ahead of the next fixture at Hampden, any graffiti or stickering will also require immediate replacement, increasing costs passed on to the club.
TRAVEL INFORMATION
Supporters are urged to plan their journey in advance and arrive early.
Police barriers will be in place on the north side of the stadium between the home and away ends, meaning there will be no through access. It is important that supporters approach from the correct side of Hampden, as approaching from the wrong side will result in a long walk around the stadium.
Public transport is strongly recommended due to parking restrictions in the surrounding area.
Supporters travelling by our Haldane Construction sponsored buses with official parking arrangements will have received communication directly. Any buses without stadium parking should leave the motorway at the Polmadie exit and follow Police Scotland guidance to designated drop-off points before parking.
For those travelling by train, Falkirk supporters should use King’s Park Station, located on the east side of Hampden Park. This will also be the recommended route for return travel after the match. Due to road closures and restrictions, access via Mount Florida Station will be impacted to the East side of Hampden, which is why King’s Park is the preferred option.
WATCHING THE MATCH
The match will be broadcast live on BBC Scotland and Premier Sports. Overseas subscribers can also watch live via Falkirk TV.
