Next up for The Bairns is our penultimate game of the 2022/23 cinch League One campaign as we take on Alloa Athletic away from home.
Kick off is at 3pm, Saturday 22nd April.Falkirk prepare to face Alloa Athletic for the fifth and final final time this season before the play-offs.
The Bairns remain unbeaten against The Wasps in the last seven meetings between the two sides. The most recent meeting was a a one-nil win for Falkirk at The Falkirk Stadium where Callumn Morrison scored the only goal of the game.
Alloa Athletic currently sit fourth in the table, four points ahead of FC Edinburgh who are gunning for the play-off spot. The Wasps hopes of staying in their play-off spot looked to take a hit with two consecutive defeats to Airdrieonians and Queen of the South this month, but they bounced back with a win away to Kelty Hearts at the weekend.
Falkirk’s recent form doesn’t make for good reading, with just one win in their last eight league games. Despite this stat, The Bairns remain in second, five points ahead of third placed Airdrieonians and have mathematically secured a spot in the play-offs.
