Next up for the Bairns is another away day as we travel to Montrose on Saturday.
Kick-off is at 5:30pm at Links Park. This weekend Falkirk travel to Montrose in what could be our title winning game. Should Hamilton win their fixture, the Bairns need just three points to secure the cinch League 1 title. Falkirk could also win the title before kick-off if Hamilton fail to win.
Last weekend, we extended our unbeaten league run this season to 30 games with a comprehensive win against Edinburgh City at the Falkirk Stadium. Callumn Morrison was the main man, scoring four goals, taking his league tally for the season to 21 and rising to the top of the SPFL scoring charts.
Montrose’s form has been decent as of late and prior to two weekends ago, they had lost just one league game in eight. The Gable Endies have struggled to find a win in the last two weeks though, losing away to Stirling Albion last weekend and only managing a draw with Annan Athletic the week before. They sit fourth in the table with 46 points, three ahead of Cove Rangers and just one behind Alloa.
