SCOTT ARFIELD SIGNS FOR ANOTHER YEAR!

Falkirk Football Club is delighted to announce that Scott Arfield has signed a one year deal, keeping him at The Falkirk Stadium until 2026.

Scott today put pen to paper on the deal that will see him feature in the Premiership for Falkirk again!

After starting his career with Falkirk, having come through the academy, Scott Arfield returned to The Falkirk Stadium in February after 15 years away. The returning hero marked his homecoming with an incredible performance, scoring a hat-trick against Partick Thistle at the stadium, in what was an emotionally charged return.

Scott went on to play a crucial part in our title charge, scoring nine goals in 13 appearances to help The Bairns secure back to back titles.

John McGlynn commented on Scott’s extension:

“On the signing of Scott Arfield, we’re delighted Scott will be with us for our first season in the Premiership in 15 years, Scott made a huge impact after joining us on the last day of the January transfer window, the nine goals Scott got went along way to helping us achieve our goal, goals win games, and from his first game back from returning to the club and scoring a hat-rick he’s continued to add to that

“Scott has been very influential on the pitch and also off the pitch where his experience has helped us no end.

“We look forward to working with Scott in the Premiership next season, it’s exciting times ahead for everyone at the club.”
