We can confirm that general sale for our forthcoming Scottish Gas Scottish Cup Semi-Final against Dunfermline Athletic at Hampden Park on Saturday 18th April will now open earlier than initially scheduled.
Following an outstanding response from supporters during the first 24 hours of our season ticket holder priority window, the club has already seen over 7,000 tickets purchased. This level of demand highlights the incredible backing the team continues to receive as we approach one of the biggest fixtures of the season.
After reviewing feedback from season ticket holders and the wider fanbase, the club has taken the decision to bring forward the general sale date. A consistent theme in supporter feedback was that the exclusive window for season ticket holders felt too long, and that there was a desire to allow more fans the opportunity to secure their place at Hampden sooner.
As a result, general sale will now open at 9:30am on Thursday 2nd April, online and in the Club Shop. Please see the link HERE for more information on how to purchase and access tickets.
This adjusted timeline still allows any remaining season ticket holders the opportunity to purchase their tickets, while also giving the club time to work closely with Total Tickets and the Scottish FA to update the ticketing system on the back end. Additional sections within the East Stand have been requested, and this change in date means that these seats should be able to be included within the general sale process as required.
In addition, supporters who purchase a ticket for the Semi-Final will be rewarded with a second wave of priority access, after season ticket holders, should the club progress to the Scottish Gas Scottish Cup Final.
We look forward to seeing a packed Falkirk support at Hampden as the team aims to take the next step in this season’s Scottish Cup journey.
