SEAN MACKIE EXTENDS FOR ANOTHER YEAR!

Falkirk Football Club is delighted to announce that Sean Mackie has signed a one-year contract extension.

The left back today signed the deal that keeps him at The Falkirk Stadium until 2026.

Sean joined The Bairns at the start of the 2022/23 season and has made 79 appearances in the navy blue.

The left-back played a crucial part in Falkirk’s back to back title success, and won the club’s Goal of the Season award for his stunning volley against Ayr United last month.

John McGlynn said of Sean penning the new deal:

“More good news, we’re delighted that Sean Mackie has decided to extend his contract with us. Sean’s had another good season, even with the competition at left back between him and Leon McCann. He’s a very solid player who’s picked up the way we play and is getting better and better.

“I’m very much looking forward to working more with Sean in the exciting Premiership season ahead.”
