The Club remains in discussion with Dylan Tait ahead of the expiration of his Falkirk contract this summer.
The following players will leave the club after the expiration of their contracts:
Gary Oliver joined Falkirk in July 2022 and made 136 appearances during his time at the club, scoring 18 goals. During his spell with the Bairns he was a consistent and trusted member of the squad across multiple seasons, including the club’s Invincible campaign in League One and subsequent Championship winning season. Gary was used in a number of attacking roles while at Falkirk, offering versatility across the forward line and midfield, and was valued by fans and management alike for his work rate and tactical flexibility.
Sean Mackie joined Falkirk in June 2022 and made over 80 appearances. He featured regularly across multiple seasons, primarily at left-back but also across the defensive line, contributing consistently and reliably throughout a sustained period during the club’s Invincible campaign in League One and subsequent Championship winning season. Sean departs after having spent the 2025/26 campaign on loan at Ross County.
Both Gary and Sean leave as Invincibles and Back-to-Back Champions. Everyone associated with Falkirk Football Club would like to put on record their thanks for their contributions during some of the most successful seasons in our history, and for their role in helping restore our club from one of its lowest points.
Brian Graham joined Falkirk from Partick Thistle last summer and provided an experienced attacking option throughout the season, contributing with his physical presence, leadership, and four important league goals, as well as playing a key role in the squad throughout the campaign.
Goalkeeper Jamie Sneddon, as well as Falkirk Academy graduates, Rhys Walker, Caelan McCrone, and Flynn McCafferty also depart following the end of their contracts.
The following loan players have returned to their parent clubs:
Lewis Neilson made 24 appearances during his loan spell from Heart of Midlothian and was an important part of the defensive group across the campaign.
Henry Cartwright made 42 appearances in midfield and scored two goals after joining from Leicester City, including important contributions against Rangers and Motherwell.
Kyrell Wilson provided a strong attacking impact during his loan spell, scoring three goals that included a big winner at Aberdeen on his debut and a goal of the season contender at Celtic Park.
Ethan Williams registered three assists and a goal in an injury-shortened loan spell at Falkirk.
Filip Lissah made 31 appearances and scored two goals after joining towards the end of the summer transfer window, establishing himself as a regular in the Bairns’ back four and earning a Czech Republic Under-21 call-up, along with internal recognition as Young Player of the Year.
Sam Hart provided defensive cover during his time at the club and remained professional throughout his loan spell, stepping in when required.
Louis Marsh made six appearances and scored once before his loan spell was cut short due to injury.
Ben Broggio scored five goals in 17 appearances after joining late in the January window, making a strong attacking contribution in forward areas.
We would like to thank all those who are moving on for their efforts while at Falkirk, and wish them all the best in their future careers.
