The Bairns return to Premiership action this Saturday as we head to Celtic Park after two weekends without a fixture.
Falkirk are still searching for their first win of the season after falling to defeat on the opening day at home to St Mirren and drawing away to Motherwell. Thanks to a decent performance at Fir Park, we head in to Saturday’s game having registered our first point.
Celtic have started the season strongly. after an opening day win against Dundee, they then went on to put five past Kilmarnock at Rugby Park and four past Dundee United at Tannadice in the Premier Sports Cup. They go in to this weekend’s game on the back of a three-nil win in last week’s Champions League qualifier against Austrian side, LASK.
The two sides met five times last season, four of which took place at Celtic Park, with Celtic taking the win on every occasion. Hopefully feeling refreshed after a short break, and having made a host of new signings, The Bairns will be looking to end their bad run against the champions.
