After playing our first two Premiership games, The Bairns get back to Premier Sports Cup action this week.
We face Celtic at Celtic Park in almost a repeat of last season’s quarter final draw, and head into the last 16 after an undefeated group stage which saw us top Group A with wins against Brechin City, The Spartans, and Queen’s Park.
Our return to the Premiership so far has been mixed, with a draw against Dundee United on the opening day, followed by a defeat to Livingston last Saturday.
Celtic begin their defence of the Premier Sports Cup trophy with this tie, and have started the league season with two wins. The Hoops left it late on Matchday One, with Luke McCowan securing three points for his team with an 87th minute goal. Last Saturday saw them travel to Aberdeen, where they earned a deserved two-nil win.
