Up next for The Bairns is a trip to Tannadice, as we take on Dundee United in William Hill Premiership action.
Kick-off is at 3pm, Saturday 22nd November.
MATCH PREVIEW
The Bairns prepare for a return to league duties after another international break. After three consecutive Saturdays at home, we are on the road again as we make the trip to Dundee.
Spirits in the camp are high following a good run of results. Back-to-back home wins against Dundee and Kilmarnock, followed by a draw with Livingston, means we sit fifth in the table after 12 games. An incredible achievement for a squad of players of whom most were playing League 1 football just two seasons ago.
Our hosts this weekend sit two places below us, and two points behind us, in the league standings. Dundee United go into Saturday’s match having won just a single game in their last six in the league. Having not won in their last two outings, Jim Goodwin’s side will be looking to get back to winning ways despite a very good point against high-flying Hearts the weekend before last.
The last time the two teams met was the opening game of the season, when Dundee United visited The Falkirk Stadium for our first Premiership game in 15 years. It was a game in which we went behind twice, but fought back both times to earn a draw. An exciting game is in store, with The Bairns hoping to pick up all three points this time round.
