Up next for The Bairns is a trip to Fir Park, as we take on Motherwell in our penultimate game before the split.
We return from the international break this Saturday with the aim of securing top six. A loss to St Mirren at The Falkirk Stadium the weekend before last delayed what will hopefully be solidified this weekend.
Falkirk go head-to-head with a Motherwell side who have been one of the best performing teams in the league this season. The high-flying Steelmen have gone far beyond anyone’s expectations this season and look certain to secure European football for next season with a fourth placed finish.
Despite how good Motherwell have been this season, Jens Berthel Askou’s side have failed to beat The Bairns on the two occasions the sides have met this season, with Falkirk getting the better of Motherwell at Fir Park with a 2-1 win back in October. They have also failed to register a win in their last three league matches after losing to Dundee and Celtic, and drawing in a goalless affair against Hibernian last matchday. They will be no less dangerous however, especially with their star man, Tawanda Maswanhise, in exceptional goalscoring form. The Zimbabwe international has netted 16 league goals this season and will definitely be a handful for The Bairns’ defence.

Falkirk supporters will be situated in the Tommy McLean Stand.
The Ticket Office at Fir Park will be open from 11am until kick-off. There will be no pay-at-the-gate option.
