Up next for The Bairns is a return home as we host Motherwell at The Falkirk Stadium.
Kick-off is at 7:45pm, Wednesday 3rd December.
MATCH PREVIEW
The Bairns return home midweek after a couple of weekends on the road.
We prepare to face Motherwell for the second time this season, hoping to make it two wins from two against the North Lanarkshire side. Scott Arfield was the hero last time our at Fir Park, volleying the winner home with 10 minutes left of the match after Calvin Miller equalised earlier in the half, following an intense first half in which Falkirk had to weather a storm.
The Bairns are in a rich vein of form at the moment and are unbeaten in four, with just one loss in eight league games. Sunday’s trip to Ibrox ended in a goalless draw, but the slight disappointment in not taking all three points shows just how far we’ve come. The result sees us remain in the top six, three points above seventh placed Aberdeen.
Motherwell have also been on a great run, with their last defeat coming against Falkirk in October. Jens Askou’s side are unbeaten in six league games, and currently sit third in the table, just two points ahead of Falkirk, in what is an extremely tight league.
The Steelmen head into Wednesday evening on the back of an excellent result against top of the table Hearts, earning a point in a goalless draw at home.
