VOLUNTEER FINANCE ASSISTANT

An opportunity has arisen to join the club and support the finance function.The club would like to hear from individuals with an interest in finance.

Working alongside the Club’s finance manager the finance assistant will help perform weekly tasks and responsibilities to support the overall finance function.

The role is voluntary and part-time and would ideally suit a student looking for some work experience or someone who is looking to support their local club. We are looking for individuals who can work flexibly to meet the needs of the football club which will include evening and weekend work for home games.

Full training will be provided within the role.

Person Specification

Voluntary, 5-10 hours per week
Component numerical skills
Understanding of finance basics and book-keeping
Knowledge and understanding of football would be advantageous but is not compulsory
Proficient IT skills including all Microsoft Applications and accounting software
