Last week in the Development Squad both the under-16s and 2011 teams played as the new season begins to get underway.
In the U16’s CAS CUP The Bairns took on Stirling Albion at Forthbank Stadium. After a slow first half Falkirk went in a goal down. A rejuvenated second half performance saw the under-16’s playing on the front foot straight from kick off, controlling the midfield areas with the substitutes making a positive impact. Goal scorers Pierce and Reece scored two apiece to seal a 4-1 win.
Our 2011s travelled to Ayrshire to play Kilmarnock last week, and it was another fantastic display from our youngest group here at Falkirk Football Club. It was extremely pleasing to see how the team have developed over the last few months under the guidance of lead coach Paul Lyon and his staff.
